The sculpture was installed in the newly renovated park, which provides recreation areas for adults and children. Nearby, on Pushkin Street, there is a comprehensive school and the central city library. Thus, with the monument of Alexander Pushkin hitherto recreation park became a space for various creative events.

The opening ceremony was be attended by schoolchildren, employees of cultural institutions, representatives of local authorities and the some citizens.
