Today, on 10th December 2019, was the opening of the new building of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation. This event is being called one of the most important in the history of the existence of the government institute of defence. The new “headquarters” of the ombudsman are located at Smolensky boulevard 19, Moscow.
Previously, on 9th December 2019, there was a presentation of the “Equity and Mercy” sculpture composition inside the inner courtyard of the building completed by Zurab Tsereteli; the president of the Russian Academy of Arts, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Georgia and USSR, winner of the Government Prize of USSR, the Picasso Prize and UNESCO Goodwill ambassador.
